What would your team be Vexed?

Eerie, you're a proper clueless mug. You're the epitome of the post 96 championship manager playing clueless retard and frankly you are embarrassing.

Perhaps we should stick Adrian up top, he'd be great in the air right?

I really enjoy thrusting into box as well

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
Oxford is young and raw, like someone else in the team, Antonio. Kouyate is best going forward and thrusting into the box. Not at the back.

Exactly, Eerie. Fucking laughable idea.

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
Oxford is nowhere near ready, he is a mistake waiting to happen, we're making enough of those without throwing a raw 17 year old into the fire.

After being the only person on here calling it since last season, and being roundly cunted, people are now starting to see the light, so much so there's a thread now dedicated to it. The man does not have the weaponry to be a consistent top level midfielder, he hasn't got the skills or football intelligence. Idiots like you get blinded by the odd barnstorming run that usually finishes with no end product.

You should bow down to me.

We fucking miss that bonkers cunt Sakho too!

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
Agree with getting Oxford in now, after all we sold Tomkins to give him a pathway into the team so put him in. Dont agree with moving Kouyate back he is our most athletic midfielder and we need him there, who would replace him in midfield? I would let Randolph have a run to, when your keeper is shipping goals for fun he has to sit out for a while.

I think we need to have a change of formation to, against Watford you had Payet, Lanzini and Antonio playing where they wanted. I would go 451. Antonio is a threat but he needs to get some discipline back in his game as do payet and Lanzini.

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
I still think Oxford is far too young and raw. I wouldn't want to play him.

Burke is also a very promising young defender who won Bradford's player of the year award last season. He's only 20 himself but at least he has more experience than the 17-year-old, Oxford.

I think that it was a poor decision to loan Burke to Wigan as we could do with him. It was an even more stupid decision to sell Tomkins to Palace without having enough competition left in defence.

If I had the chance; I'd love to kick all of our senior defenders in the bollocks as hard as I fucking can and tell them to fucking wake the fuck up and do your fucking jobs properly.

ps- I trust it has occurred to Bilic that having meetings in darkened rooms is no bloody good, get them out on the training ground working hard!

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
That is true vexed but if rumour is to be believed we have another fifteen games or so to assess him before deciding whether to commit the extra 20 million. I'd be tempted to stretch that period so the coaches can spend as much time as possible with him before making any decision.

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
Having watched that horrendous defensive performance on MOTD it is time Oxford was given a decent run alongside Ogbonna. I would also like to see Fletcher start upfront its quite clear that neither Zaza nor the Argentine guy are up to it.

What is the problem with Sakho, is he actually injured or has he refused to play? If the former get him in as quickly as possible, if the latter I trust we are not paying him!

Zaza. You don't drop your twenty odd million striker after two games when he's had no service at all.

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
Maybe we could set up like this:
Adrian
Arbeloa Reid Oggie Arthur

Nordtveit
Noble/Obiang Kouyate

Lanzini Antonio Payet

When we push forward we are not left so open at the back. Can go 5 at the back if we want. 3 when the full backs push on. Does make us light up top but we're leaking goals so sacrifices have to be made.

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
Current fit first team:

Adrian
Arbeloa Ried Ogbonna Masuaku
Nordviet
Kouyate Obiang
Antonio Payet
Zaza

Arbeloa may be unfit and so Byram in for him in that case.

Harsh on Randolph, Noble, Lanzini and Feghouli but get them on as subs and cause selection headaches. Not all the best players can start, it dis-balances us.

Cresswell, Carroll, Ayew and Sahko provide very strong competition once fit.

Kouyate at CB and Fletcher up top.

What a FIST.

Re: Kouyate and Ogbonna as new Centre Back pairing
The team definately needs a shake up.

Adrian
Byram Kayoute Oggy Arthur
Lanzini Obiang
Antonio feghouli payet
Fletcher

We need some pace at the back so we can squeeze sides again which is why I would begrudgingly see how Kayoute gets on there. I like Lanzini deeper because he is a gritty little fucker who can influence a game from anywhere and it seems to me that him and Payet are taking up each other's space. The other part of the shield needs to be a player who will protect the defence and I expect Slav will go with Nord. Unfortunately Noble is looking lost at the moment and isn't helping the side at either end of the pitch. Antonio needs to improve dramatically and start protecting his full back, yesterday he played up front. The side just leaves Arthur without much cover as Payet needs to be free from defensive duties and I'm not sure Feghouli is a box to box type. It's a shame Tore has made a poor start. You can toss a coin for the one up top.

Scary how little our support knows about 'their team' really.
